Security Guarding

Heritage Security Services provide licenced, vetted trained and fully uniformed security officers and support services in order to maintain a high degree of security and integrity at our customer’s premises.

Each security officer is vetted in accordance with the requirements of British Standard 7858 Security Screening of Individuals Employed in a Security Environment – Code of Practice. They are then selected and trained.

To achieve the SIA qualification for security guarding officers need to attend four day two part training course and take and pass two examinations.

Heritage Security Officers are trained to guidelines as set out by the Security Industry Authority (SIA).

Further training is also available to officers including First Aid and other related courses available to the company via our training provider's Approved Assessment Centre.

The company’s sales activities are conducted in accordance with the principles and ethics of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management.

Mobile patrolMOBILE PATROL VISITS

This will consist of a licenced, uniformed Security Officer who will make a series of pre-determined visits using a marked, private communications patrol vehicle.

Each vehicle is fitted with a mobile telephone unit ensuring immediate contact with our Control Centre and/or if necessary the Emergency Services.

Mobile patrol visits can be tailored to fulfil specific customer requirements and are available throughout our current operational area.

SUPERVISION

A key element of any manned security operation is the company’s ability to supervise its workforce. This is carried out by a team of trained supervisors who visit contracts at random, on a regular basis and who are there to advise and offer guidance within the parameters of their employment.

Supervisors are entrusted team members and the link between members Duty Officers and Senior Management.

KEY HOLDING SERVICES

Heritage Security Services provide Keyholding services in accordance with the requirements of BS 7984. In the event of alarm activation at your premises your Alarm receiving centre will contact our Monitoring Station who will co-ordinate the response and investigate the alarm activation, take the appropriate course of action and secure the premises as quickly as possible. A full report will be either emailed or faxed the following working day.

CCTVCCTV MONITORING

As well as the ability to monitor your CCTV systems on site, Heritage Security Services are also able to provide a Remote Monitoring Facility for CCTV systems at our 24-hour Control Room.

More often than not CCTV systems are used as a means of looking at the history of an on-site incident, quite often many hours (or days) after the incident occurred.

Benefits Include:

  • Viewing the Incident as it happens
  • Operating cameras remotely to obtain the best view of events
  • Switching on lights, activating sirens, closing or opening doors as necessary
  • Using the audio link to verify a legal entry or address the site warning intruders to leave the premises
  • Creating the correct responses, notifying the Police, keyholders or responding to the site with our own mobile patrols
